CultureFest & Rib Cook-off Event Update

To help ensure the community’s health and safety amid the pandemic, St. Philip’s College has decided to postpone April’s CultureFest and Rib Cook-Off virtual event following the recent decision by the Fiesta San Antonio Commission to postpone Fiesta until June. St. Philip's will continue to monitor the recommendations from the City of San Antonio and the guidance of the Fiesta San Antonio Commission.
For 25 years, the CultureFest & Rib Cook-off event has been a signature celebration for San Antonio’s Eastside during the Fiesta season. The event on the St. Philip’s College MLK Campus draws thousands of attendees annually and continues to be one of SPC’s largest fundraisers contributing to student scholarships.
St. Philip’s College is thankful for the continued support and contributions to celebrating the heritage of San Antonio and cultural influences of St. Philip's College as one of San Antonio's most historically distinguished and ethnically diverse institutions in higher learning.
